Meet Dr. Charlotte Hicks

Dr. Charlotte Hicks, D.C. graduated from Southeast of Saline High School (Gypsum, Kansas) in 2002. She then earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Athletic Training from Kansas Wesleyan University while on a Softball scholarship and pitching for a KCAC championship team. Then, she went on to attend National University of Health Sciences in Lombard, Illinois, where she earned her Doctorate of Chiropractic Medicine (D.C.) in April of 2011.

While finishing her D.C. degree, Dr. Hicks completed a one-year clinical internship with a focus in integrative medicine, which means she is able to work with other medical professionals with differing specialties to achieve the highest standards of care for her patients. Dr. Hicks utilizes Diversified, Thompson Drop, Impulse and other Instrument assisted chiropractic techniques, as well as focusing on Nutrition, Muscular Rehabilitation and the treatment of Pediatric and Prenatal patients. Her integrative approach to therapies has proven highly successful for her patients and they acheive lasting effects.

She discovered her passion for helping the Prenatal and Pediatric populations during her own pregnancies and working with her children through common childhood ailments. Giving back to the community has always been important to Dr. Hicks and she is a board member for the non-profit organization Lotz of Blessings (www.lotzofblessings.org) where enjoys volunteering with her family. Dr. Hicks also assists with the Florida State Senior Games as Athletic Training and First Aid staff. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family (husband, 2 kids and cats), jiu-jitsu, yoga, running, reading, listening to music and watching movies.
